One Bridge Finance (operated by AM & RJ Holdings Limited, trading as One Bridge Finance) is committed to protecting your privacy.
One Bridge Finance acts as an intermediary and does not itself provide credit or lend money. We assist clients by assessing their information and submitting applications to third-party lenders. Any credit contract you enter into will be with the lender, not with One Bridge Finance.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
By providing your personal information to us, you consent to us collecting, using, and sharing it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Providing your personal information is optional. However, if you do not provide the information requested, we may not be able to assess your application or assist you in applying for financial products or services.
Why We Collect Your Information

- Assess your application and submit it to appropriate third-party lenders
- Verify your identity and comply with anti-money laundering and countering financing of terrorism laws
- Verify your credit history, financial position, and current credit obligations
- Assist with responsible lending and affordability assessments
- Communicate with you about your application
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including under the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act (CCCFA)
- Manage our internal operational requirements, such as risk management, audit, insurance, administration, and compliance
We may receive commission or other remuneration from a lender if your application is successful. Details of how we are paid are set out in our Credit Services Disclosure.

Who We Collect Information From and Share It With
We collect personal information directly from you.
We may also collect personal information about you from, and share personal information with, the following parties for the purposes outlined above:
Lenders and Financial Institutions
- Registered banks and other credit providers in New Zealand
- Our panel of lending partners
Identification Verification Agencies
We may use third-party identification verification services to confirm your identity and meet our legal obligations under anti-money laundering and fraud prevention requirements.
Credit Reporting Agencies
To verify your identity, assess your creditworthiness, and process your application, we may obtain information from, and disclose information to, credit reporting agencies.
The credit reporting agencies we may use include:
- Centrix (Credit Bureau of New Zealand)
- Illion Direct
- Equifax
These agencies may hold information about your credit history. We may access and use this information to assess your application. Information provided to these agencies may be retained by them and used in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Introducers and Referral Partners
- Motor vehicle dealers or other parties who introduce you to us
Your Representatives
- Your solicitor, accountant, or other professional advisers
Employers and Service Providers
- Your past and present employers (for income verification)
- Telecommunications providers (where relevant)
- IT providers and cloud storage providers
- Professional advisers and insurers
Government Agencies (where required)

You authorise us to request and collect your personal information from the third parties listed above for the purpose of assessing your application.
Ongoing Collection and Sharing
We may collect and share your personal information on an ongoing basis where required to assist with your application or to comply with legal obligations.
For example:
- We may receive updates from identification or credit reporting agencies
- A lender may continue to share information with credit reporting agencies while you have a credit relationship with them
If there is more than one applicant, information provided by one applicant may be shared with the other applicant(s) as necessary for the application process.
Storage and Retention of Your Information
Your personal information is stored electronically and/or in paper files.
Generally, we hold your personal information in New Zealand. Some service providers (including secure cloud-based providers) may store information on our behalf in New Zealand or overseas.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure.
We retain your personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to meet legal, regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements.
